Job Purpose
To repair company vehicles, trailers, implements farm machinery and mobile irrigation pumps to agreed set standards by using hand tools, manuals and other workshop equipment.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
· Carries out repairs to company vehicles/farm machinery, trailers, implements etc. according to repair specifications.
· Conducting preventive maintenance/alternate service to company vehicles/farm machinery, trailer, implement, etc. according to manufacturer’s specifications.
· Carries out vehicle test and report any fault/findings to LDV & TRUCK Maintenance Foreman.
· Co-operate with management to enable them to perform their duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
· Perform all tasks with “awareness” towards the prevention of any forms of pollution to the surrounding and environment.
· Ensures that all operations are carried out as per the ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System at Kilombero Sugar to achieve the quality standards.
· Maintains a clean working environment with proper housekeeping.
Job Qualification and Experience
· Trade Test Grade II in Automotive Mechanics
· Ordinary Level Certificate
· 1-2 years’ experience as a Mechanics in related environment
Job Profile
The responsible candidates will be responsible to collect, preserve, and deliver representative samples of raw materials, in-process products, final products, and environmental matrices for laboratory analysis.
Specific Job responsibilities.
· General laboratory housekeeping i.e. cleaning glassware, windows and doors
· Collect grab, composite, or continuous samples from specified sampling points using validated techniques.
· Preserve, store, and transport samples under the correct conditions (e.g., temperature control, acid preservation) to avoid degradation.
· Label samples clearly with all required metadata: date, time, location, sample ID, collector initials, etc.
· Clean and maintain sampling tools, bottles, and containers to avoid contamination.
· Document all sampling activities in logbooks, forms, or digital systems (LIMS, spreadsheets) accurately and promptly.
· Follow all SOPs, quality procedures, and chain-of-custody requirements for sample handling.
· Prepare sampling kits and ensure sufficient stock of containers, coolers, and preservatives.
· Conduct field checks (e.g., pH, conductivity, temperature) where applicable, using portable instruments.
· Support routine calibration and verification of field equipment to ensure sampling data integrity.
· Cleaning nosing room and nosing glassware
· Storing of retention samples in the retention storeroom
· Ensure laboratory benches and lab cupboard are clean at all time
· Follow proper way procedure as informed in Quality Control Standard Operation Procedure
· Perform non-routine sample when required.

Job Qualifications
· Advanced Level Education/Ordinary Level Education.
· Level one lab assistance will be an added advantage.
· 1+ years of experience in a laboratory environment, especially in sampling, testing, or quality control within a manufacturing setting.
Job Profile
The successful candidate will be responsible to assist in supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment by performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance, inspections, calibrations, repairs, and ensuring system integrity and reliability while minimizing downtime and adhering to safety standards
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems (e.g., motors, MCCs, lighting, cables) and instruments (e.g., sensors, switches, transmitters).
· Calibrate field instruments and verify control loops in accordance with schedules and procedures.
· Assist in the troubleshooting of faults in PLC panels, junction boxes, and signal wiring.
· Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams to guide installations and repairs.
· Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and other safety procedures during work execution.
· Record all work performed in maintenance logs or computerized systems (e.g., CMMS).
· Support shutdown and startup activities by preparing equipment and restoring systems after maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the relevant function to understand, interpret and translate the function’s strategies in terms of financial cost drivers and value opportunities. The role is also accountable for producing accurate, relevant, and timeous management reporting for the function.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure finance is at the heart of the decision-making process, bringing rigour to the evaluation and implementation of value-enhancing decisions.
- Bring financial understanding to a business decision by ensuring alternatives are thoroughly evaluated and the optimum decision taken; use appropriate business tools to support decision-making.
- Focus on streamlining processes and evolving reporting to suit the specific requirements of the business over time.
- Prepare business cases (IRR) and analyses for all capex projects to ensure viability and subsequent realization of envisaged benefits.
- Manage strategic discussions with internal customers to make sure that their needs are met, and key pain points are addressed.
- Accountable for timely and accurate P&L forecasting and budgeting including causals and analysis for your function.

The successful candidate will be responsible to ensures mechanical systems and equipment operate safely and reliably by performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance, helping prevent breakdowns and support organizational productivity
Specific Duties and Responsibilities.
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, seals, piping, belts, and valves.
· Inspect and diagnose faults in rotating and static mechanical equipment using visual checks and hand tools.
· Dismantle, repair, reassemble, and test mechanical components as per technical drawings and procedures.
· Lubricate machinery, align shafts and couplings, replace worn parts, and conduct mechanical adjustments.
· Use manual and powered tools safely and correctly (e.g., torque wrenches, grinders, welding tools, hydraulic pullers).
· Record completed work in logs or maintenance systems with clear notes on root cause and actions taken.
· Assist in plant shutdown/startup activities and planned overhauls by preparing and restoring mechanical equipment.
· Adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and hot work permit procedures while performing mechanical jobs.

Job Profile
- The successful Loading Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate handling of ENA, TA and FO.
- · Make sure the Drivers and assistants must be inducted on the loading procedure
- · The Loading Operator must observe and assist the driver to properly position the tanker without causing any damage. The tanker must be positioned such that the top of the tanker can be safely accessed from the loading floor
- · Monitor gauges and warning lights during operation, responding promptly to any indicators of malfunction or potential issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures
- · Load trucks with designated materials, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safety protocols
- · Verify correct ethanol grade, batch information, and tanker ID before transfer.
- · Dipping Daily receiver tanks and Bulk storage tanks.
- · Conduct pre-loading inspections of tankers for cleanliness, proper sealing, and grounding.
- · Connect and disconnect loading systems safely and securely to avoid spills or leaks.
- · Maintain the work area by clearing debris, levelling surfaces, and organizing stockpiles to optimize efficiency and safety. Maintain accurate records of materials received and loaded, utilizing inventory management systems
- · Collaborate with logistic Foreman to coordinate loading schedules and process
- · Participate in regular safety training and always adhere to safety protocols
- · Reports all quality deviations and irregularities and together with the Logistic Foreman make required plant adjustments.
- · On taking over the shift, checks the condition of equipment, consulting fellow employees or specialists if needed.

- · Conducts visual checks and inspections of the Product storage and Loading Bay, and associated utilities and report for any abnormality.
- · Execute basic maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, greasing, and minor repairs, reporting significant mechanical problems to maintenance staff.
- · Respond promptly to alarms, spills, or emergency shutdowns, and report incidents to supervisors.

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing local Procurement and Inventory operations, ensuring delivery against key performance metrics aligned with the organization’s business strategy. The role involves leveraging analytical data and insights to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in forecasting, developing, and implementing effective demand plans.
The candidate will lead, manage, and develop the local Procurement and Inventory teams, ensuring the execution of robust, long-term sourcing strategies that are fully aligned with both Country and Group strategic objectives.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Adopt and embed best practices, minimum standards, policies, processes, tools, systems and enablers (capabilities) shared by Group Procurement & Inventory teams
- Set goals/KPIs and SLAs aligned to Group then measure, track and manage performance against these KPIs. Work with subfunctions to implement initiatives that will improve performance in their functions (i.e., OTIF, purchasing speed, increased savings, optimal stock holding, etc.)
- Guide and support the operations’ Inventory personnel in managing Inventory parameters within the ERP system and optimizing these parameters on an ongoing basis
- Manage and monitor departmental Procurement & Inventory budgets to ensure seamless operation of the department
- Accountable for oversight and management of the Logistics/Customs activities driven through the Inventory team
- Develop and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their work context to inform forecasting and planning for their Procurement and Inventory needs within their demand planning environment (including off Crop demand planning)
- Communicate the Procurement & Inventory processes and drive compliance required from end-users; this includes tracking and reporting on compliance and/or deviations
- Review and contribute to the development of a Country Procurement Category strategy & local commodity sourcing strategy to ensure smooth execution
- Drive contract management activities and contract compliance with the Contracts Specialist team (i.e.% spend under contract)
- Ensure a strong partnership exists between the Contract Specialist and Group Category teams to give input into category strategies
- Drive Working Capital Management by ensuring that parameters of inventory holding are optimized, service levels to stakeholders is maintained, inventory is correctly classified, Obsolete/excess Inventory is identified and flagged for provision planning together with Finance
- Support Inventory Manager in verification and expediting activities according to pre-determined KPIs and in guiding the Inventory Operations team to ensure accurate and efficient receiving/receipting/issuing of stock takes place according to pre-agreed KPIs
- Ensure compliance to the FCFQ is achieved through rigorous engagement with group and internal audit (this includes maintaining relevance to current systems, policies & procedures)
- Promote and adhere to Kilombero procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)
