Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Support to identify social programs to be implemented in line with KCCT strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies Manage reporting on sustainability initiatives and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders
- Support the development of KCCT sustainability and social programs strategic plan to ensure all identified sustainability and social programs initiatives are planned, budgeted and aligned to the overall business objectives
- To represent KCCT to Government, International Agencies, Funding and other partners, potential donors and other bodies including civil society relationships with the above stakeholders and industry partners to keep them informed and updated of project activities and results and raise awareness of KCCT locally, nationally and internationally
- Responsible for the budgets and accounting of KCCT and providing regular reports to the Board of Trustees as well as ensure compliance of the Trust
- Responsible for the development and implementation of a marketing and fundraising strategy. By targeting in country and external funding initiatives he/she will raise the profile of KCCT and awareness of the needs of the Kilombero communities and identify opportunities to secure funds to support its development projects and activities, with primary focus on the Kilombero growers Vision
- Responsible to maintain and improve existing stakeholder relationships particularly with surrounding Kilombero grower communities to fully understand the needs and to ensure ownership of the projects and results
- To identify, develop and implement new project proposals to support the development of the surrounding communities, again with primary focus on the Kilombero growers Vision
- Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development, Public Relations, Sustainability or a related field
- Minimum 5 years in fundraising, donor relations, or resource mobilization in NGOs, development agencies
- Proven track record in executing strategies and impactful programs
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
- Proven track record in executing successful community investment programs fundraising & sustainable partnerships
- Strong proposal writing (Technical and Financial).
- Excellent networking abilities.
- Knowledge of donor landscape and funding mechanisms
- Adept to project development and management
- Proven ability to address issues or difficulties in the management and implementation of projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Swahili
- Sound negotiation skills and creative thinking
- Proven collaborative management skills in a project environment

The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of the Route to Consumer (RtC) strategy to optimise volume and value for the country as well as provide market intelligence and strategic insights to guide commercial decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze market intelligence to understand competitor strategies, footprints, and activities; identify white spaces and growth opportunities; and advise on relevant commercial strategies.
- Drive reseller identification, onboarding, and volume achievement within allocated territories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Own the implementation and monitoring of RtC execution standards and reseller management processes in assigned regions, guaranteeing compliance and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and manage RtC programs such as Foot Soldiers and Reseller Loyalty Programs, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend additional initiatives to enhance performance.
- Execute capability-building initiatives within RtC, including coaching and operational support for field teams, with a strong focus on resellers’ sales representatives.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve market penetration and accelerate volume growth.
- Design and deliver comprehensive monthly customer performance reports, assess results against targets, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize compensation plans that drive sales growth and maximize value.
- Compile and analyze credit committee monthly reports, offering insights and actionable recommendations to support decision-making, and participate in discussions when required.
- Develop and present weekly RtC enabler reports, highlighting progress, gaps, and actionable recommendations for improvement to commercial and relevant stakeholders.
- Promote and adhere to Kilombero’s procedures, policies, and guidelines, including those related to SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
Job Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Marketing
- 3-5 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing within a FMCG environment
- Sound business and financial acumen, with a good understanding of the local market dynamics
- Analytical and planning ability
- Clean and valid driving license
