Job Purpose

Specific Duties and responsibilities:
• Maintains Master Data on an on-going basis to support the Purchasing and Inventory Function in accordance with the Division Procurement Strategy and to deliver a service to end users. i.e. ensures no duplicates and no remapped MIDs exist in an active state for more than 2 weeks
• Supports and gives input to the maintenance of the standardized/structured naming convention for Master Data that conforms to industry best practices and market related standards. This will require engagement with SMEs as well as extensive commodity-based research
• Manages the creation of new MIDs and requests for corrections/enrichment to existing MID’s (within agreed SLAs) from Category Leads and/or Operations to the Division Catalogue in accordance with agreed structured formats for naming. This includes the technical understanding & application of classifications/grouping and materials technical data within the Division Catalogue and the management & correction of Master Data related parameters
• Enhances Master Data clarity and integrity through effective & efficient service delivery and resolution of issues affecting realization of the overall Procurement Strategy
• Carries out Change Management activities with all stakeholders and Super User support to end users on the addition of MIDs and SIDs as well as the role of the new Master Data Management Systems i.e. Online MID Application System.
• Develops & implements strategy to improve Master Data maintenance & cleansing.
• Provides adhoc training to all end users on the use and search functionality of the Division Catalogue & related screens within SAP.
• Ensures the Master Data Management (MDM) processes are in place and are optimized.
• Identifies potential for new MID Master Data creation from Reliability improvement initiatives and the analysis of direct spend in collaboration with Category Leads/Operations e.g. Off Crop Direct Spend.
• Ensures the timeous capture/uploading of Transport Rate Factors, whilst spot checking for duplications & invalid estimates
• Develops & maintains weekly reports on pending MID applications – to be shared with Division Master Data team; this includes the creation of new MIDs from applications received manually and via the Online MID Application System.
• Recommends changes to SAP Material Resource Planning (MRP) parameters to support service delivery to end users.
• Performs and manages on-going audits and Inventory Master Data recons to ensure accuracy of data. This involves the maintenance of the Online Master Data Dashboard
• Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including relationships with and between supply chain, IT, Reliability and technical teams where Master Data is required
• Drives & champions any system or process improvements within the Procurement and Inventory Master Data function, aligned to Reliability improvement initiatives.
• Provides input and data required to Category Leads to facilitate strategy changes and amendments
• Promotes & adheres to Illovo SHERQ procedure, policy & guidelines
Minimum Job Qualifications:
• Relevant 3-years degree/diploma, electrical/mechanical engineering, a Purchase and Supply background will be an advantage

Overall, Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible of administration of safe anaesthesia during surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and obstetric procedures.
Key Accountabilities
• Participate in elective and emergency theatre work and provide a high degree of input into high care and obstetric services and cover on call after hours.
• Lease with the pre-clerking nurses regarding patients who will require postoperative critical care and to carry out the pre-operative visits to evaluate and prepare patients for anaesthesia, providing education about surgery and recovery, and discussing the side effects of anaesthesia with them.
• Determine the amount and type of anaesthesia needed for the patient and the best way to administer it.
• Administer anaesthesia to patients to keep patients asleep or pain-free during surgery, according to hospital policy.
• Monitor and maintain patients' vital signs and their dose of anaesthesia during surgical procedures.
• Oversee and manage patients' safety during anaesthesia recovery.
• Provide follow-up care to patients transferred to high care ward areas.
• Work with a multi-professional team in the wards and emergency room in response to patients requiring critical care or resuscitation and provide expert emergency response intervention and support.

- Perform daily and weekly inspection, maintenance and cleaning procedures on the crane, chain, Sling and pads and report any deviations Foreman.
